Whilst the group is undergoing a major reorganisation without a proven stable business in China, Alibaba‘s C.E.O. Daniel Zhang announced that he will be stepping down on 20th June 2023. On 10 September, he will be replaced as C.E.O. and Chairman of the Board of Directors. The 59-year-old Joseph Tsai, Executive V.P. and co-founder of Alibaba alongside Jack Ma, will become the new Chairman of the Board. The current President of Taobao and Tmall in China, Eddie Wu, will succeed Daniel Zhang as C.E
