With ‘Bring Back Your Jeans’, created in 2013, the D.I.Y. retailer Castorama continues to integrate into the circular economy. The aim of the initiative is to recycle old clothes and transform them into insulating panels. In France, 228 tons of jeans were collected in 2019 in dedicated skips (Le Relais) installed in Castorama stores.

About 11,400 m3 of insulation was produced from recycled cotton wool by the Metisse company. The collection for 2021 is set at 240 tons of reclaimed clo
