Korea: 7-Eleven tests lockers in 100 stores next year

South Korea’s 7-Eleven is offering unmanned locker space services at 2 stores in Seoul. The convenience store plans 10 new locker services by the end of 2018, wishing to judge customer response and growth potential before opening 100 lockers across the country in the first half of 2019. “The lockers can create more profit for stores, whist providing a differentiated service for customers,” a local 7-Eleven executive said.
