Launched in late 2022 as part of the French AGEC law and extended in May 2024, the repair bonus is gaining ground in the furniture sector, mind Retail learned. Ecomaison has announced an imminent launch on kitchens, bathroom furniture and dressing rooms, to cover 100% of the sector.
Six months after being opened to consumers in the furniture category, the repair bonus is to be rolled out to more products. “We’re going to extend it to kitchens, bathroom furniture, closets and dressing rooms,” Eric Weisman, Ecomaison‘s Director of Development, told mind Retail ahead of the Salon du Meuble. “This repair bonus will be worth up to €200, and Ecomaison’s financing of around 20% of the repair cost will enable kitchen, furniture and storage retailers to increase their...
