Mitchell & Ness bought by Fanatics and American stars

On February 18, Fanatics (valued at US$18 billion), a sportswear retailer, bought 75% of Mitchell & Ness (US$350 million in sales by 2021). The remaining 25% of the company is shared between several investors including American pop culture stars such as Jay Z, rapper Meek Mill and the D’Amelio family (star of Tik Tok).

Mitchell & Ness, valued at US$250 million (according to the New York Times), is a vintage sportswear brand. Iconic jerseys sell for between US$100 and US$400.
