On 23 September, Foodpanda announced a partnership with Lego (2021 sales of US$8.06 billion, up by 27% vs 2020), marking the toy brand’s entry into the quick commerce market.
The agreement, which covers Malaysia and Singapore, will allow customers to receive Lego boxes in less than 30 minutes. Foodpanda, acquired in 2016 by Delivery Hero, manages 300 darks stores and operates deliveries for 50,000 restaurants and stores in 11 Asian countries.
