The Chinese group Alibaba launched ‘eWTP Africa’, the regional version of its global e-commerce platform in Kigali, capital of Rwanda. Jack Ma confirmed that the choice of this part of East Africa, with Paul Kagame as President, is not accidental. In the 2019 edition of its “Doing Business” report, the World Bank ranks Rwanda (29th), in the top 30 worldwide locations.
