Spanish retailer Mercadona is to open a first supermarket in Portugal in July of next year. The company will open 10 stores during the second half of 2019, in the districts of Braga, Porto and Aveiro. The supermarket group plans to invest €100 million in the first phase of the roll-out in Portugal.
