From 1st January 2024, textile manufacturers in Italy and the Netherlands will be subject to EPR, as voted by Brussels in March 2022. “The aim is for manufacturers to assume responsibilities throughout a value chain, including when they become waste, said Richard Van Marion, Global Client Director at Rebound. Incineration and landfill must be reduced to a minimum, and the life of products and recyclability extended”.
