Arket, a brand of the H&M Swedish retailer, has started renting children’s clothing through a partnership with the Dutch clothing rental company Circos. Subscription is available for European customers from €19.50 per month. Rented items can be worn for as long as required. After returning items, Circos will wash and clean them at no extra charge, ready for further rental. When an item is eventually worn out, the base materials are recycled and processed into new clothing. Meanwhile Arket said it will open a first China flagship in Beijing this fall.
