Costco (retail sales 2021: US$192 billion, +17%) announced that it will open 7 stores from this summer, adding to the 2 current stores in Shanghai and Suzhou. They will be in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Shenzhen, which will house the largest Chinese store.
