On March 17, 2025, Forever 21 (2021 turnover US$2 billion, last available financial data) filed for bankruptcy in a Delaware court. This includes 354 stores in the USA, the brand licence and U.S. subsidiaries. The company has lost US$400 million in 3 years, including US$150 million in 2024. Debt has reached US$1.58 billion.
