Continuing a strategy of focusing on city centres, Ikea will open a store in Thailand, in the Emsphere shopping centre, currently under construction (owner The Mall Group). Located on Sukhumvit Road, this mall covering more than 200,000 sq.m will be opened by the end of 2022. This will be the 4th Ikea store in this 70-million inhabitants market, after Bangkok (Bangna and Bang Yai) and Phuket. The exact opening date has not been published.
