In the U.S.A., the restaurant chain Chipotle that specialises in Mexican food has invested in the start-up Nuro, which supplies autonomous delivery vehicles. This undisclosed investment is part of a Series C financing round led by T. Rowe Price Associates. The start-up raised US$500 million, following the previous US$940 million round funded by SoftBank in 2019. Nuro’s current valuation has reportedly doubled since that previous round, currently reaching US$5 billion.
