This global framework agreement signed on November 10 marks the third with Japanese businesses, the first two being in the service sector. However this third agreement is signed with Japan’s biggest company AEON that employs 420,000. In signing the agreement the company commits to upholding basic social rights in those countries where it operates. From UNI Global’s perspective this agreement serves as a standard for the Asian region.
