A law passed on June 3, 2007, including several dispositions concerning labour law, was published in the Moniteur Belge of July 23, 2007. This text introduces changes to the legislation on the posting of workers in Belgium and on health and security at work. Posting of workers. The law introduces new dispositions in the legislation transposing the 96/71 disposition of December 16, 1996 on the posting of workers, by enabling “workers who are or were posted in Belgium to bring suit in justice to assert” the rights granted by Chapter II of the law, aimed at the rules enforceable for the posting of workers in Belgium.
