Belgium: the department of labor is updating its website

The SPF (Public Federal Service) Employment, Work and Social Dialogue launched, on February 1, 2007, a new website to replace the old one, dating back to 1998. It enables to access ten themes relating to work relations; to specify legislation enforceable for an employee's temporary assignment in Belgium; and to look for labor collective agreements. The site offers access to ten thematic modules (labour regulation, labour contracts, diversity, temporary assignment, reorganization, and so on) containing legal bills, publications, procedures… with a possibility to research through keywords. An information letter was also created, and the first one will be sent out through email at the end of February. The labor collective conventions and the administrative interpretations of the equal commissions’ areas of proficiency can now be searched for
