Denmark: social partners and institutions multiply initiatives for the occupational safety of young people

The goal of this initiative?  Focusing on the high accident rate among young people.  “We can see that young people and new employees have a higher accident rate than other groups of workers.  It is therefore normal we targeted professional schools” explained Ejner K. Holst, secretary for LO in charge of the campaign.  The goal is to remind that “no one is invulnerable, even young people” he added.  This message will be delivered to nearly 3,000 students, “in their own lingo,” with a comedian and two rappers.  There will be, among other things, improvised sparring matches on the subject, with the students being actively involved and who will then have to answer a questionnaire with 13 questions on the working environment.
