This year, 54 % of Danish firms employ telecommuters, up from 38 % in 2002. « The increase is particularly significant in firms with 10 to 49 employees », notes Martin Lundø, consultant at Danmarks Statistik: 47 % in 2006, up from 30 % in 2002. In the firms with more than 50 employees, this percentage rose from 69 % in 2002 to 84 % in 2006.
