The Labour Secretary wants to bring back on agenda the supervision of the “secret clauses” which prevent an employee from finding a new job after they quit. Indeed, the government presented a similar bill in the spring 2007 but, after strong criticism, it was abandoned. “It is unfair that employees ignore the consequences these clauses can have on their future possibilities to change employers.
