The establishment of a sound working environment, resuming activity during the illness, better dialogue between the employer and the sick employee… these are some of the initiatives contained in the tripartite agreement signed in Copenhagen on September 29, 2008 between the government and the Social Partners to reduce the number of sick leaves in the public and private sectors. Change the way sick leave is perceived and
encourage better dialogue between the employer and the employee during the
sickness. These are the two goals of the tripartite agreement signed between
the Social Partners and the Minister of Labor, Claus Hjort Frederiksen, on September
29, 2008. The goal is to prevent and limit the number of sick leaves in order
to increase the workforce of 4.000 people. After being presented to the Prime
Minister, this agreement will be presented to the labor market
