On 25 November, Spain's Council of Ministers approved a regulation on training contracts. This text defines the terms and conditions for hosting work-study students and interns doing professional training, depending on the size of the company.

The text, published in Spain’s official gazette on 27 November as Royal Decree 1065/2025, will come into force on 17 December, 20 days after its publication. It is part of the changes introduced by the 2021 labour reform, which seeks to clarify the status of people doing training and apprenticeships at companies.
