Deutsche Bahn: agreement on privatization allows tariff negotiations to resume in calmness

Just after the surprise announcement (8.11) of a compromise on the partial privatization of Deutsche Bahn, DB management and the trade unions of railway workers Transnet and GDBA have reopened their tariff negotiations. Trade unions announced that they would no longer launch warning strikes before the end of the legislative process. At the end of October, they had threatened to launch a general strike to force the rail company to preserve job security in any case. (see our article n° 61077). (Ref 061126)
