This is a first in the German energy sector. E.ON Energy Trading, a subsidiary of the German energy giant E.ON, is the first German company to turn into a European Company (SE). After signing, on April 16, 2009, an agreement on the involvement of workers in the new SE, E.ON Energy Trading SE registered on the trade registered on may 29, 2009. Unlike other German businesses which made that choice, the "conversion" into a SE led to improved workers' representation rights. (Ref. 090596)
Turning into a SE for the image. Located in Düsseldorf like the parent company, E.ON Energy Trading is one of the largest subsidiaries of the E.ON group, called market units.
