EU : Commission approves creation of European Gas Social Dialogue Committee

The 34th sectoral social dialogue committee has just been officially approved by the Commission. Social dialogue in the European Gas industry will be handled by the employers' federation Eurogas and by the trade union federations EPSU and EMCEF. The committee will be formally launched on next 15 March 2007. (Ref.061136)

The European Commissioner for Employment and Social Affairs Vladimir Spidla has officially approved the establishment of the Social Dialogue Committee for the European Gas Industry.
