The European Social Dialogue Committee in Electricity met on March 10 to validate its 2009 work program. The Committee, created in 2000, gathers the FSESP-EPSU – the European Federation of Public Service Unions and the EMCEF – the European Mine, Chemical and Energy Workers’ Federation for unions and Eurelectric for employers. The new work program was negotiated smoothly: in late 2008, unions and employers agreed on two codes of good behavior, the priorities of which are written down in the Committee’s 2009 agenda.
