France : agreement signed on employee protections and social measures amid recommencement of activity at EDF

The agreement, signed on 3 June with all the group's trade unions and the French energy group, addresses the challenges of relaunching business with a global approach. In addition to covering how leave should be managed, health and safety conditions, the adjustments to work organisation necessary for business to resume and employee recognition, the agreement devotes a section to the continuity of social dialogue and the resumption of training and mobility, sets out guarantees for work-study students, and organises feedback on the main changes observed, with a commitment to launch new negotiations to integrate them into the group's conventional structure.

This agreement was largely negotiated remotely between 30 April and 25 May. It is valid until 31 December 2020 and was signed unanimously on the trade union side.
