France: new Renault three-year jobs agreement
Following in the steps of the CFE-CGC and the FO unions, on 09 January it was the turn of the CFDT to approve Renault’s three-year employment agreement which guarantees a certain level of business at its sites, promises 3,600 new permanent employment contract hires, and requires greater employee flexibility. The CGT union will deliver its opinion on the agreement on 12 January and the text will be officially signed on Friday 13 January.
