France: rights group Sherpa and the CGT accuse Vinci of forced labour in Qatar

On 23 March, the NGO Sherpa with the building federation of the CGT claimed that Vinci Construction, and those running its branch in Qatar (QDVC), has used forced labour on the construction sites for the 2022 World Cup. The French construction company has been accused of forced labour, keeping migrant workers in servitude and exploiting them.
