General Motors: management accepts negotiations on Azambuja plant

GME has accepted to start negotiations on the future of the Azambuja plant Portugal). The group recently announced that it intended to close the site, which hosts the production of the Opel Combo model. Strikes have been taking place since 13 June in all of GM Europe 's 18 European plants. (Ref. 06684)
