The Council of ministers (Bundeskabinett) adopted, on October 17, 2007, the reform of the status of federal servants and soldiers (Dienstrechtsneuordnungsgesetz) which regulates the status, pay and social protection at the same time, both for federal judges and soldiers. (Ref. 070863)
The reform adopted on October 17, 2007 by the Bundeskabinett brings numerous amendments to the law which regulates the status of federal servants. The main measures are the following:
- Retirement: the legal retirement age for the staff concerned will gradually go from 65 up to 67 years old.
