The seven regional districts of the German trade union IG Metall have launched a broad reflection on the organisation’s positions, methods and objectives in a period marked by multiple crises and transformations. The large coastal district, IG Metall Küste, which is the furthest advanced in the process, presented an initial summary of its findings last week.
