With soaring sick leaves with mental causes, the IG-Metall metalworkers' union once again called on Ursula von der Leyen, CDU Minister of Employment, to adapt the legal framework to new labor world issues/challenges and presented, on June 27, its own draft regulation on protection against psychosocial risks at work. The IG-Metall notably wants to force businesses to adopt clear regulations on the use of cell phones and computers outside of working hours. (Ref. 120431)
