The federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) launched, assisted by the European Social Fund, an advice offer to help SMEs in the ten Länder of former western Germany to adapt their personnel management to the demographic challenge. By September 2008, more than 2.100 companies will have been visited by one of the 300 "demographic advisors" trained to enforce this programme, entitled "Rebequa". (Ref. 080097)
