Great Britain: 1 in 5 workers says he/she is victim of harassment at work

One in five British workers has been victim of harassment or persecution at work during the last two years, according to an investigation of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development (CIPD), an organization which brings together the professionals of human resources. (Ref. 061075)

Most affected are the disabled workers. 37% of them say they ware ill-treated at work. Ethnic minorities are also much represented, 29% of black workers or workers of Asian origin were harassed. However, only 18% of non-disabled workers, and the same proportion of white workers, complained about ill treatments.
