practice on union representatives’ delegation time. The first document is a revised edition of
the ACAS Code of Practice on Time off
for Trade Union Duties and Activities. It seeks to provide clarification on the allocation and management
of paid time-off and facilities for union representatives. It addresses in more
detail the provision of cover for the representative during time-off periods,
the adjustment of workloads, training and re-training for representatives
