With under ten days to go to the historic referendum on 23 June, when the British will vote ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the EU, more and more businesses are getting involved in the campaign. For example the telecommunications giant BT will be sending a pro-Europe letter out to its 81,000 employees.
For months the Brexit campaign has been reigning in British businesses, with most recently BT addressing a pro-Europe letter to its employees. Notably the letter has been signed jointly by BT’s chairman and managing director as well as by CWU and prospect union representatives and in it they lay out why they intend to personally vote to remain in Europe.
