The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a benchmark organization in terms of human resources, published a guide for managing conflict at work, aimed at managers. This tool comes within the general action policy for the resolution of disputes. (Ref. 080172)
According to a study carried out by the CIPD, 350 days a year are devoted to managing conflicts within a company, from the simple complaint to the court hearing, cost about £20.000 a year. In addition, companies rely more and more on the human resources department and external legal advisors to deal with the growing number of litigations.
