More than 90% of UK companies that took part in the four-day working week trial have decided to continue with the new working pattern. The results of the six-month large-scale test indicate a reduction in burnouts and sickness absences as well as an increase in business revenues.
Brainchild of the 4 Day Week Global not-for-profit lobbying group that has driven other similar projects in several other countries, the UK trial ran from June 2022 to December 2022 and saw 61 companies across a wide range of business profiles (consulting, online commerce, financial services, animation studio, catering, marketing, health, etc.) taking part.
