Great Britain: the insurance world supporting women returning to work after a career break

Nine leading insurance sector groups have signed up to an innovative program to help employees return to work after extended breaks, most of whom, studies have shown, are female.* Developed by the UK consultancy firm, Inclusivity Partners, successful candidates for this scheme will embark on 6-month paid contracts in one of the companies supporting the project.

“Talented people who are ready to return will be given the tools and confidence they need to step back into their careers,” according to Inclusivity Partners which created this project that has attracted the broader insurance industry including disciplines ranging from insurers to brokers and life insurance. This gender neutral program has been opened for applications. “Men do take career breaks too, but we know that these issues disproportionately impact women,” said Inclusivity Partners found
