Public-private partnership.  REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) chief executive Kevin Green and Darra Singh, chief executive of Jobcentre Plus, signed, on January 11th, a memorandum of understanding.  Followed an exchange between recruitment agencies and Jobcentre Plus representatives.  While the two organizations have informally been working together for over two years, this public-private partnership is a first for this sector.
