…Greece: better access to mediation by the labor inspectorate for individual disputes
The current provisions date to legislation from 2011 and weren’t really used due to inefficacy. On 08 August a decree was adopted that establishes a labor inspectorate platform (S.E.P.E.) in a bid to simplify the administrative procedures and so make recourse to mediation for individuals’ work-based disputes easier to access. Thus if the parties agree within the mediation framework, then disputes can be settled in twenty days without any litigation costs.
