Greece: employers ask for pay cuts in the negotiations for the trade and hotel sectors

Trade sector.  Employers in trade and small and medium-size businesses asked for pay cuts around 10-11 percent during the first meeting between the representatives of National Confederation of Greek Commerce (ESEE) and of the General Confederation of small manufacturing and merchants of Greece (GSEBEE) and the Confederation of private employees last week.  However, they promise to maintain rights such as the 13th and 14th months as well as bonuses and leaves.
