To optimise the use of its human resources data and its impact on the business, the French jeweller created a People Analytics department in 2021. Using the Visier tool, which is used by both its HR department and the wider business, the company has trained the entire HR community in data analysis.
Up until 2021, when the People Analytics department was created, Cartier – more than 10,000 employees worldwide – essentially utilised operational reporting tools. There was a data visualisation platform, but the system was so complex that it required digital skills that the HR teams lacked to adapt the analyses to local contexts. The central was meanwhile unable to provide local dashboards to meet each specific need.
