Turkish Ministry of Labour has recognised the trade union KOOP-IS within Mapa, the Ikea franchise in Turkey, allowing it to negotiate and sign collective agreements. The union recognition is the result of a campaign that started in 2011, during which the support from the international UNI Global and the Swedish trade unions has been instrumental.
