On July 8, IndustriALL general secretary Jyrki Raina and Inditex’s chairman and CEO Pablo Isla signed the renewal of their international framework agreement for the implementation of international labor standards throughout the supply chain of the ready-to-wear company, at the ILO’s headquarters in Geneva.
In the initial agreement signed in 2007, the textile group committed to have international labor standards throughout its supply chain (union freedom and bargaining, the fight against forced labor and discrimination, respect of people’s dignity, healthy working conditions, payment of wages, not excessive working time, and so on).
