Little by little, Ireland which, just like Great Britain enjoyed a transitional period to apply the 2002.14 EU Directive on workers' information and consultation, has to extend the range of companies liable to the April 9, 2006 law implementing this directive (see our story n°06721). Since March 23, 2007, companies with at least 100 employees are subject to it. The Labour Ministry published a practical guide to help employers comply with this law. (Ref. 070285)
