The Council of Ministers approved, on October 17, the final draft of the text which ratifies the Welfare protocol, rewritten after social partners' protests (see our article n° 070851). Even if the new version of this text satisfies trade unions and employers, it was confronted to a strong opposition from the radical left-wing party and from the "precarious workers" who massively demonstrated on October 20.
