Italy : older workers will be allowed to work part-time to make space for youngsters

The budget draft law for 2007 contains a measure for employment which is quite suprising : a " pact of solidarity " between generations, which will enable workers over 55 years old to work part time instead of full time in exchange for the appointment of a young job seeker - part-time also - on the same position.
