he largest union confederation in Italy unanimously approved a strategy to object to the January 22 separate agreement on the reform of the conventional system (see our dispatch No. 090080) signed by the government, the major employers’ associations and the Cisl, Uil and UGL unions. Instead of “retreating into a defense strategy”, it announced that it wants to “meet the challenge of innovation and revival of the national collective agreement.” (Ref. 090130)
